Work Hours : Full-time ; 40 hours/week
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION
The incumbent to this position will be the key public health advisor on HIV prevention and treatment to the Senior HIV Advisor and to the Senior Health Team Leader. The Job holder will not only support clinical and public health programming of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) portfolio, but will also ensure linkages and synergies between care and treatment, and the cross-cutting social and health systems strengthening and HIV prevention components of the PEPFAR program through oversight of the HIV program ’s outputs and through coordination of PEPFAR team staff.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION:A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Public Administration or host country equivalent.
EXPERIENCE : Five years of mid-to-senior level public health experience in developing, implementing and evaluating HIV prevention and treatment programs that involve coordination with an international agency, Ministry of Health, and/or implementing partner required.
